MSHA First Aid – English

Emergency situations can occur at any mining operation, making first aid knowledge a critical component of workplace safety. This MSHA First Aid Training course provides employees with the fundamental skills needed to recognize emergencies, provide initial care, and respond appropriately until professional medical assistance arrives. 

Participants will learn essential first aid principles, including injury assessment, bleeding control, treatment of burns and fractures, recognition of heat-related illnesses, shock management, and basic CPR awareness. The training is designed to help miners and contractors respond effectively to common workplace emergencies while supporting a safer work environment. 

Course Duration: 130 minutes
