Hazardous materials are encountered in many workplaces and can present serious risks if they are not properly identified, handled, stored, or disposed of. Understanding the hazards associated with chemicals and other dangerous substances is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
This course provides an introduction to hazardous material awareness, chemical hazard communication, and safe work practices designed to reduce the risk of injury, illness, and environmental harm.
